In the heart of Auto Row on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco, Elon Musk's Tesla electric car dealership became the target of a relentless weekly campaign of protests, starting in March 2025. Thousands of angry people filled the sidewalks in front of the Tesla dealership, protesting against the billionaire's illegal and outrageous gutting of numerous federal government agencies through the fabricated "Dept. of Government Efficiency" or DOGE. The San Francisco protests were part of an international campaign to leverage popular anger at the Trump/Musk illegal destruction to bring down sales of Musk's electric car brand, and ultimately to destroy his wealth as much as possible.
