&amp;lt;font color = navy&amp;gt; &amp;lt;font size = 2&amp;gt;We are community history groups in San Francisco who have come together to: &amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&amp;lt;/font&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
1) share resources around local history gathering and dissemination; &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
2) influence the discourse of local history; &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
3) amplify work done by local historians that is often isolated work; and &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
4) promote more collaboration around local history. &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
We identified several underutilized large collections of neighborhood history in the form of neighborhood newspapers—some now out of print—which we are working together with the [http://archive.org Internet Archive] to digitize and make available as historical resources. The papers we are working to scan and integrate into the collection are: &amp;lt;br&amp;gt;&lt;br /&gt;
