Among the many amazing stairways in San Francisco, the two off Ord Street on the northwest slopes of Eureka Valley, Vulcan and Saturn, are really fantastic. They are a fun way to traverse the steep slopes up to Corona Heights, or if you are on your way from the Castro to the Haight, they provide a scenic alternative to the usual streets.
