A famous corporate headquarters, considered to have been well-designed into its surroundings at the foot of Telegraph Hill. The design orchestrates the buildings with the landscaped plaza which also includes fountains designed by renowned architect Lawrence Halprin. The complex also includes rehabilitated warehouses nearby--the 1903 Italian Swiss Colony Building and the 1879 Cargo West Building at Battery and Union.
