Grace Cathedral, California and Taylor, former site of Crocker Mansion

The fabulous Crocker Mansion, one of several outlandish gilded-age structures on Nob Hill, burned to the ground after the 1906 quake. Grace Cathedral, a magnificent structure in its own right, has risen to take its place.
